Louise enjoys working and teaching in her Highland, Michigan studio and is also a plein air painter. She is greatly inspired by the gifts of God's creation.

Louise worked as an interior decorator and custom color consultant; she supervised in the painting and decorating industry and applied her experience at a custom-framing and art gallery. Louise has continually worked with art, color and design for over thirty years. She has also juried student art exhibits for Huron Valley High Schools, and won an outstanding youth educator award for her dedication, commitment and guidance to students whose work was selected for national honors.

Louise attended Oakland County Community College for art and design and has attended numerous seminars, workshops and classes by many well known nationally and internationally acclaimed artists.

Louise is a member of and volunteers for the Village Fine Arts Association and Huron Valley Council for the Arts. She belongs to the Detroit Society of Women Painters and Sculptors where she has served in many positions. She is also a member of the Great lakes Pastel Society.

Louise and her students have won many awards. Her work and numerous commissions are included in many private and public collections and are displayed in galleries and venues all across the state.
